Is this a motorbike or a powered bicycle ?

I was giving your commute a little thought today [1]. If you do 200
    miles a day over 42 weeks (I think) that's 42000 miles.

Allowing for oil and filter every 5000 miles costing ?15 that's ?143, a
    pair of tyres every 7000 (BT45s) ?1,080, petrol at ?4.50 a gallon and 40
MPG comes in at ?4,725 - a grand total of ?5,948. I've not included
other wear and tear or parking but I'm pretty sure you can get a first
    class season for that.

Trains are full of them. I count half a dozen just on the station I get
on at when I'm going up to the office.

The cycle to work scheme is paying (with my help) for my new bicycle.

You'll see a lot of bikes stabled at mainline stations - usually pretty
cheap ones or rough tourers converted to single speed and there's a
number of Reynolds framed ones brush painted - street sleepers if you
    like.

The owners commute to and from by train sans cycle and pick up their bike
at the station and cycle to work and on their return leave the bike at
the station. Means they don't have to fork out for a Brompton and can
    ride a normal sized bike.

The top of platforms 15-16 at Victoria are an unofficial cycle rack for
    this type of commuter machines.

Hahaha! You don't even get a standard season ticket for that (I refuse
to go via Warminster because it takes over three hours- and even then
the fuckers want £5,500 or so for it):

12 months Standard Class £7328, First Class £13,556.

I don't question your sums though on the cost of commuting.

    Fuckers.
