I didn't realise there was a time limit, or are you trying to tell us
    something in a roundabout way?

Perhaps it is only coincidence, but a James Mayfield,
Guilford NSW, threw acouple of questions to the Bike Doctor in the Oct.
edition of Two Wheels, Was having
carby set-up problems with his girlfriend's GPX 250,
    and also with a TS185ER.

    Google is your friend
Matt is a person who bought an across rode 400kms in a day then tried to
keep up with a hyabusa and stacked it when he saw a cop car.
this as a learner first day on his bike.

He then went on to stack his spada tho not his fault.
Then he sold the across to a mate who also stacked it.
he then changed his name to giraffe and kept asking every question
possible about fixing bikes in a very similar style to yourself.
    So fess up
    Are you Matt?

    I SAW them; I didn't HEAR them!!

Besides; if they're running why aren't you out riding them instead of
spending your time here, wracking your brain for imaginitive ways to waste
    money on them?!!??

    AAAAaarrrggghhhh; it's spreading!!
Was it questions like "How could I fit a bank of four flatslides to a GPX?"
and "What's the simple way to add a second cylinder to a TS185?" (..and
    watercooling!)

    That's the one; LEGEND!!
I'm not referring to his auspicious debut but rather all the follow-up
posts about how to fix/modify/IMPROVE the bike(s).

Nothing wrong with that. If you don't ask question from the people
who have made all the fuckups for you how are you going to learn. My
self and James are probably like a lot of people in that in some
things we no a lot and in other we know bugger all, so I'm just trying
to fill in the gaps in my knowledge.

Wen I was a newbie I once asked a mechanic if I could fit a
    GSXR1000 turbo motor to a 250!

But speaking of doing silly things. If Perth people wanna see
something interesting. At the bike shop opposite cheers in Vic Park
the gey there has a 70's 2 stroke 3 cyl 750cc motor stuck in a Kwaka
    250!

James has asked for advice/opinions, received it, then argued with the people
answering his questions. It's Matt/Giraffe all over again. If you ask a
question, then pay no heed to the answer, pretty soon people stop answering
your questions, or if they do answer, they send you off on a merry chase.
