Is it me...?

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Richard Sterry, Mar 4, 2004.

  1. Um, should a bike with L-plates be able to pull a steady 80-85mph uphill?
(A38 this morning, between the M1 and Derby.)

    Is it me...?

Depends what bike, and who it's being ridden by, I guess.

No (legal) reason why a bike with L-plates can't pull 170+ uphill.

    I think it has now.

If you're doing the DAS IIRC there's a minimum HP (47 I think) of bike you
can do it on but no max so you could do your training on a ZX10R if you
    wanted.

    De-restricted. L-plates. Possible, but legal?
