That's fed up with just having an sob when you want to go somewhere on 2
wheels, forever having stupid things happen like fuel pipes doing a Houdini
act from the petrol tap, fuses working loose, brakes coming on on their own,
    etc...
So I went to Fowlers in Bristol on Sun and got wowed by a new blue Fazer
    1000.
So wowed I bought the bugger! Roll on 2nd Nov when I get my mitts on it...

Ian Morgan vaguely muttered something like ...
Heh .. I run a Beamish Suzuki Trials bike from 1979 ish .. it's great, old,
fast, powerful and unbelievably heavy. We recently bought a newer Fantic,
anout '91/92 ish, monoshock, upside down forks, and a powerband that is just
so tight that it feels like it could take off .. except that it actually
handles well, is really, really light and goes where I want it to without
thinking. Power is technically down on the Beamish, but 'cos it's half the
weight it seems so much more ...

I'm seriously considering giving up twin-shock trials simply 'cos the riding
experience is just so much easier with newer kit. And the kids can ride
this one so much more easily .. ;)

I feel your pain. My 550/4 is in the middle of an "irritating" stage, where
daft little problems such as you have are showing up here and there. They
only take 5 minutes to cure, but the main fuse falling out (for example)
whilst doing 90Mph-odd down the outside lane of the M60/62 interchange is a
    little unsettling...

If I had the money, something along the lines of a V-Max would be on my
    list. Mmmm.. V-Max...

Thinking of selling the Z650 by any chance?

Never say never, but it owes me way too much money and is getting close to
how I want it now. I'll get a pic and link to it at some time.
