Is It Big Enough???

Would a 1715mm wheelbase bike fit on one of these (VTX 1800, the longest I
know of)

Weight is OK.

The lift length is 2200mm.
Clamp appears about 300mm from front.
Does 2200mm include the ramp?

How the **** should I know? Why not ask them?

 

With the Wing (wheelbase 1700mm)[1] - it can be a bit of a struggle to
get the wheel to drop down the hole when you take the plate out.

Just ride as far forward as you can go[2] - as the bike will of course
come back when you put it on the centrestand.

That's very expensive compared to the MachineMart one - which looks
identical.

[2] Not easy when the bike's as wide as the lift base, and you can't
reach the floor.

 

Yes, it appears identical, couldn't find a picture of the MachineMart lift
(£299 + VAT (NO VAT this weekend however))

 

VTX 1800.
Side stand only, so need (1715mm + a bit) from clamp

Will take tape measure to local M....Mart.
