Is Geeky Rider Really Sunny in Disguise?

Seems the Talkers have been suggesting Geeky Rider and Sunny are the
same person. Although I am sure the regulars of Reeky have chalked it
up to more unsubstantiated Talker BS, it appears a few have been
    buying into the premise.

Sorry boys, you have been sold another bill of goods by your Buds.

Seeing as the Talkers never provide support for their stories I
thought I would provide the proof Sunny is in reality not Geeky Rider.

The two headers posted below clearly show these two people are not the
same. Someone might have to explain to the Talkers how to read them.

.... not sure it really matters (?) i flew to Wash D.C on
friday morning and returned today. i thought (hoped) everyone
would have gotten to the "ignore Walker stage" by now, but i
    guess it "aint-a-happenin" :)

be that as it may, i've been setting those threads (related
to BW) to "Ignore" and of course, BW is killfiled, so i care
    not what he's posting.

Can you tell us what Geeky Rider's IP address is so we can compare more than
    just different news services?

When you get that, feel free to stop back by!

Thanks for playin' there Canuck Don.

Let's turn it around Brian. I have made an offer of proof they are
different people not only using different news services but also using
different versions of a news reader and very likely different
    computers.

You and your Dad have made the allegation, so why don't you show us
    their IP address's.

Surely you had something to base your assertion on? Or did you? Was
it just another lie you and your Dad are becoming well known for?

.... to generalize: i can assume any identify and post using any
sort of newsreader from different locations/etc/etc, but i can
still be the same person. i could post an article, then ten minutes
later post another article and their origin can be COMPLETELY
different, even though i've posted from the same PHYSICAL computer.

with that said, the newsreader/news-server, and even IP address,
is not indicative of a person. what becomes important is the
social engineering portion of the research. i mean, all i have to
do is introduce a single $10us device on the inside of my cable
modem and what you would see on my post is an IP address of
127.0.0.1 - try to trace THAT address :))))

i can use remailers or use a proxy through a public news-server
and you'd not know (find) me. i know how to cover my tracks,
but i have no incentive to do so.

i also have the tools and knowledge to trace a posting or email,
but again, i dont have the incentive to do so.

hmmmm.. I'd like to suggest that Michael is more likely suffering from a
raw finger.. than tired arms, Tony.. Calling all those ISP "abuse report"
lines is tough.. LOL Then .. having to do the killfile thingy is downright
humiliating, after the techs have sympathized with his difficulties.. He's
probably been advised more than once that if he doesn't like to be responded
to disrespectfully, he shouldn't become involved in such juvenile
exchanges.. That'd be my guess.. .. Regards..

Now.. Now .. Bill .. that is an entirely unfair assumption on your part..

Vurry innurstin' observation, Bjay.. I'll certainly have to admit that I'm

Not to worry Bjay.. mjt has been dialing "abuse report lines:" and
complaining, for years.. Most of them recognize the caller ID numbers,
"there he is again".. and listen politely before they hang up and share
    their laughs with co-workers..

Actual confrontation with usenet posers and pretenders is highly unlikely..
But.. my last visit with my huge family in Bowie county, I learned that
those Beasley boys are hauling pulpwood around Corley, these days.. Should
the improbable threat from these guys become a reality, you should be
comforted to know that all you need to do is notify Dan or any of the other
Beasleys, mention my name and they'll be there to attend to whatever relief
    you require.. Regards

I would put it differently. I think MJT is more likely to meet up with
real riders and friends and newsgroup posters in TX, not with you Bill
Walker. I know he has ridden with Maggie, and probably more posters in
    Reeky than just her.

He probably has a good idea of who he will ride with, and who he won't.
I bet you are on his "Won't" list.

Rob, I just have to ask, do you really have a Linux box with the name

I'm guessing it's RedHat and I'm guessing you just went with defaults and
don't know how to change it?
