realistic (dream on you bmw owners )
if rossi had seen anything competitive from bmw in his 21 year life he would
still require 20mill per year to ride one

    cheers dan

  3. The above is true in some BUT M/S has to retire one day.I cannot see him
He's still winning, and hasn't expressed any desire to quit. Why quit if you
    can still win?
Italians might be italians, but Ferrari is a business, and businesses are in
it to _win_. Ferrari will hold on to Schumy while ever Schumy is there to be
held on to. He might not be Italian, but he is by _far_ the best driver out
there at the moment. (He is F1's Rossi, if you will.)

  4. No, I can't see him doing that. Rossi loves to win. If he was really in it
for the challenge, and not to win, he would be riding a Kawasaki this year
(and he'd be doing it for free to help them along).

It's a moot question... he would not be faster than Schumacher.

Racing bikes and racing open wheelers couldn't be remotely classed as
the same or similar. Rossi will have to earn his way into F1 like other
drivers, unless he comes with an absolute shitload of money. Even then,
he might start out in a Minardi (that should be Italian enough to get
    Hatz salivating).
