Is anyone in the market.......

  1. for a Triumph TT600?

I need to make some room in the shed, and the TT's gotta go soon. 2001
model with ventura brackets, pillion grab rail. Blue and silver colour
scheme. 47,000km (which I've been told is high, but hey, I do ride it!)
    Regular services.

There are some cosmetic problems - couple of stationary drops, but has never
been crashed. Apart from that it's a great little bike.

I've got an idea of redbook value and apparently '$2.50 and a kick in the
    nuts' isn't quite high enough...

    cheers

  4. There's been an inflationary effect. It's now three fiddy. And I'll
pass, on the kick in the nut, thank you.

  5. That's good to know. Every extra dollar helps buy more bling for the new
    beast...

I think Jules' last bike before the TT600 was a GSXR1100R so nothing would
    surprise me!!

  10. No, because it hasn't arrived yet, it is still on the slow boat from
England, and when it does get here it's got a couple of Gs worth of
go-faster bits to be added. And a slight suspension mod so I can touch the
    ground...

  11. That would have been hardly worth the trouble of upgrading.
Probably not! It's just a boring old speed triple. In Blazing Orange.

  13. Yeah, that's the one... I'm getting a screen, seat cowl, rear axle nut
cover, bar end mirrors and Arrow pipes, in addition to the suspension mods.

I can't freakin wait!!! They're brilliant bikes to ride, and a great riding
position for me - getting a bit tetchy in the joints these days, ya know...
so a more relaxed riding position is good.

    cheers
