  1. I camped here http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=2991
which was OK for a couple of days, however, I've realised that I that
camping is not for me anymore - must be age. Most of the club camped
    here http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=1020 I
visited them for a BBQ and it's shit. A couple did stay in B&B, I'll
mail them and ask where it was and if they'd recommend it.

Is your e-mail valid? I'll mail you once I hear back from them.

  2. Thanks. I've sussed out there are two pubs there.
One each end of the road coming from the harbour.
Will probably be on my own meeting up with others there.

    And the e-mail is valid.

I hope to get a few days from Trimingham this week.

I find that driving to places I've been before is more tolerable than
places I've not been to before. Also, free flowing traffic is
    obviously better than congestion.

I went to some place near Rickmansworth (to pick up an X-box from that
Biffa chap) this felt like a mammoth journey, because a) most of it
was on the fucking M25, which is a semi-carpark on a Saturday, and b)
because I didn't quite know where I was going.

I drove to Burnham-on-Crouch[1] at the weekend - though this is
further from my place, it seemed less of a journey, because I'd been
there before, and the traffic was fairly light.

[1] an enjoyable afternoon out, marred only by Angie's insistence on
    "singing" Billiricay Dicky.

Rickmansworth Hockey Club was where I had the amusing Bandit-Lampost
    interface.
Didn't drop that 400 Four back, by any chance, did you?

    That's exactly it, bloody odd.

I used to think nothing of driving to Swansea from Bicester for an 8.00
start, do a day's work (driving round customers and stuff), then home at
5.00pm. When I reached the Severn Bridge, mentally I was nearly home too
(although I guess it's about half way).
