Invoice for ferry crossings have just hit the doormat... for those who are
interested it's £158 on Seacat from Liverpool/Return so thats not too bad,
was expecting £170+ from what the Steam Packet droid said when I booked the
tickets. Still seems a fair whack for a 3 1/2 hour sailing though

Monz emerged from their own little world to say
Portsmouth to Caen is a similar time on the Normandie Express fastcraft. A
7 day return in June is about £150, 5 day return about £100. You could get
it cheaper if you go on the conventional ferry.

Yes Champ... aren't they wonderful. Noticed on the tickets that even though
I specifically booked the seacat both out and return from Liverpool they
have decided that I shall sail my outward journey from Heysham on the crock
of shit otherwise known as the "Lady of Man" but wait there is more... I
called to ask why they had moved the booking when they had already confirmed
the original booking on the seacat. "Im sorry sir it's just because of the
numbers". Surely the people that booked after me should have got the Lady of
Man tickets, Well sir if you need to cancel there will be a charge and that
charge increases the closer you get to the TT.

They are a shite company and if there were any competition they would be
bankrupt overnight and you know it.

But like the Murphy's I'm not bitter

At the moment for us on the Island if we make a booking before the 14. Feb,
for any date other than TT Week in 2005, we get the ticket at half price.
