45 minutes on average to get there. So, leave ours by 8:30 a.m..
By whom? Neither parking, nor traffic in Cwmbran is difficult. There
is shedloads of free parking there - I should know; after all, I've
been working there for 4 months.

The worst bit of traffic will be 2 miles from ours, at Aztec Business
Park. On a bad day getting round there can take 25 minutes, although
    Fridays generally aren't too bad.

Doesn't sound too bad, then.... I take it you're quoting cage times
    here?
This came from the HR manager when I phoned to confirm the times etc.

I did, at the time, mention that I might be better off on the bike.
Noted, cheers. It's going to be much easier overall by car.

AOL - now that they have that new road that avoids the M4 tunnel and Malpas
it will be a piece of piss.

Parking no problem. Although, be prepared to spend 30p to park all day.

bad form, but this http://www.cwmbranshopping.info/ says 3000 free parking
spaces - can't believe they would get that many in a week, let alone a day.

Yes, on bike, it's door to door in 35 minutes/
Ged knows what they'd think of somewhere more cosmopolitan, like
    Bristol.

Parking is free in the Glyndwr and Monmouth car parks. Or have I just
    been whooshed?

I corrected myself in a later post. My home is in Abergavenny where they
controversially introduced pay and display a few years ago. Seems like
Torfaen has yet to succumb to the full force of Welsh capitalism.

Yes, I saw the follow up. CBA to check for new headers before posting
    a reply.

I turn up at plenty of places on a bike and then hold a 'responsible and
    adult' meeting.

Mind you, I do tend to get changed into a suit at the side of the road
(**** 'em if they don't like my legs) and stash all of my bike gear on
the bike; the BMW hard luggage helps...

I can get away with it but I'm quite well known in my field for riding
(and falling off..) bikes so it's maybe not the same.

Don't you have an Aerostich suit, or am I imagining that? They look almost
sensible for wearing a suit underneath.. aside from the wrinkling issue.

I'm going to wuss out and take the cage, anyway. Can't be arsed with
changing into a suit etc when I get there.

You're imagining it. Have thought about buying one but haven't mainly
because of the wrinkling and risk of sweat...

you're probably right in your decision; I don't think an Aerostitch
will help you with those problems.

I've done bike+suit, but I went there the day before and bumped into the
hotel manager who was just leaving and who just happened to be looking
at getting a bike. I let him sit on mine, gave him some pointers and he
left word that I'd have the use of the gym facilities to freshen up and
    get changed.
