so many new, and long-gone names returning to the newsgroup this week.

makes a person wonder if a couple a folks spent more time last weekend
lobbying or begging buddies to come help them in their attempt to
surround newsgroups, lay 'em down, and get all grizzled.

Is that all you have? Surely you had enough time to come up with
    something even remotely witty.

Not at all. I leave that up to the individual. If that's someone bag,
then so be it. Iggy's good at it and uses it like a tool. See how well
    it works with you?
Lay off the sauce. You're typing's worse than usual.

Mark Johnson, Ft. Worth, TMr. Wilson, the professor speaking above has a very dry sense of luker,
    I mean
humor. uhhhh, Professor bownse, has a problem typing positivesness. He
can only complain. He complains constantly about my manner of ''text
quoting''. I know he knows I am doing better, but he's the type that
couldn't possibly compliment me. He is another one, who has trouble
''shifting'' gears in a discussion group. He maintains one monolog of
    ''typing his thoughts''.

You know you're living in 2005 when...
    1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave.
    2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years.
    3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of 3.
    4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.
    5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that
    they don't have e-mail addresses.
    6. You go home after a long day at work you still answer the phone in a
    business manner.
    7. You make phone calls from home, you accidentally dial "9" to get an
    outside line.
    8. You've sat at the same desk for four years and worked for three
    different companies.
    10. You learn about your redundancy on the 11 o'clock news.
    11. Your boss doesn't have the ability to do your job.
    12. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if
    anyone is home.
    13. Every commercial on television has a website at the bottom of the
    screen.
    14. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't have the
first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and
you turn around to go and get it.
    15. You get up in the morning and go online before getting your coffee.
    16. You start tilting your head sideways to smile. :)
    17. You're reading this and nodding and laughing
    18. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward this
    message.
    19. You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on this list.
    20. You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn't a #9 on
    this list.

hope bownse did not injure his typing fingers, so that he can continue
his famous one-monolog style of ''typing his thoughts'', when he
    ''thuded'' to tha flow.

Can you show where I said I could bench press 210? I don't believe I've ever
said that. Can you prove it?
Still mad because I told you that you had a hot chick sounding grandma and
her and I could probably go out and have a good time together?
Yeah, who's the one who's hiding? Who's the one who's not?

But, I wasn't the one who shoved that email up your ass....that was a 70+
year old man and his friends who had that pleasure.
Really? I thought that award went to the one wanting to ride a KZ1300 in
dirt races....as well as ride a Valkarie on a track.

Hmm, I have a motorcycle in my garage that I ride quite often. Where's
    yours?

You had yours repossessed because you wouldn't make the payments on it. I've
had mine paid for a great many number of years.
