interesting trailer concept

    Oh joy. Heaps of weight pulling the bike sideways at seat height.

    The problem is apparently that Yanks can't bend down to put the
    trailer on a normal hitch....

    Nah mate!

    Lighter still. Rip a cheap rigid tail bicycle to bits and turn it around
    then use the forks as the trailer's suspension for an uber lightweight
    afventure trailer. :)

    <puzzled look> Sideways?

    I can see a force would act towards the back, as you accelerate, and
    front under brakes, but wouldn't imagine there would be much sideways
    forces, unless the trailer was getting _well_ out of line.

    It would certainly assist in getting the front wheel off the ground!
    Perhaps they just don't like the daggy look of the normal low level
    trailer hitch?
