    Hi there

It's been a little while now, since I had a look for 'cycle insurance,
but after #? years, I have managed to get a green light from SWMBO to
    get going again!.

Anybody got any recommendations or tips for a competitive quote?

I have not found anyone cheaper than 1st Quote yet. I could have got the
FJ covered TPFT for £88 this year (except I went for FC for £170).

Don't worry, a few years of being careful and you'll get it down to
about 250 quid. That's what I'm paying with Carole Nash.

    <Weep> 250! <Weep some more>

I also took out some GAP 'surance; which seemed like a good idea.

I was disgusted that it cost so much. My W plate ZX-9R was only 168
    quid.
I haven't a fucking clue what that is. Does it cover your poncy jeans
    and t-shirts if you crash?

I don't know if my penis does still work, no-one's been offering me

    care.
I have it here, ready and waiting.

Pays the differences between what the normal insurance will pay
against write-off or theft, and what you have paid for it. i.e. if you
paid £8,000, then you get £8,000.

    Seemed a good idea
