This seems a bit odd. I don't have to garage my machines (BN3)

Also, IIRC, BN42 is next door to BN3. In fact the houses one side of a
road (BN42) are worth significantly less than the houses on the other
    (BN3). Madness I know.

Is it that nice that someone only /borrowed/ your CBR's bellypan, not
    nicked it?

Because all the robbing scrotes are locked up, not free to roam the

  5. That happened at my last address, which has an F* rating rather than a
refer. I don't know which is worse, I certainly never garaged my bike at
my last place despite being asterisked.

However, I moved from a D to a D earlier this year and saw a doubling in
my premium. Told my insurers to **** _right_ off, and went to someone
who could do it cheaper than my original quote.

Seems highly dubious, though, as CF82 covers a huge area from Pontypridd
(quite dodgy) through to Merthyr Tydfil (unbelievably dodgy), with us in
the quiet bit in the middle.

That'll be ably assisted by the thousands of gatsos Northants police
have installed, meaning you're never likely to ride a Busa at anything
    over 29.5mph.

Maybe she nicks a lot of bikes.

  10. Some of us ride more than 2 miles a year - it's possible to leave the
county you live in without a passport in England if not in Wales.

Most of them (outside 30mph limits) are Truevelo. I get the Kettering
one on the A14 to flash every time it's live.

Admittedly, I didn't go much faster than 30mph on the 'busa.

It may surprise you, but I did 8k miles on the VFR last year..... OK, so
I've only done around 1.5k (if that) this year, just haven't had the
time since relocating - I'll be making amends for this in a few weeks,
    though.

  13. Not exactly round the world is it? Still, I suppose it's difficult to
put much milage on it when you have to choose roads to suit it so
    carefully.

I'd have thought you could have ridden it up and down the length of the
M1/M6 a few times safely enough though...
Joining Nick Saunders on a round the USA jaunt or taking a day trip to
    Cardiff?

A week of riding round the Algarve. Not rocketship mileage, but should
cover a respectable distance in the week.

  15. Sorry Timo, these are insurance comapny ratings, not AA/RAC no-go
    zones.

  16. Nice one - watch out for the back roads though - off the main drag they
    specialise in dirt tracks.
