We were going to trade it in, sometime in the next few weeks, so this
probably works out in our favour.
Fully comp, arranged just over a week ago!

Oh, sure. Bit of Belzona, fabricate some new wings out of discarded
cable ties, then Nige it out on eBay.

True. She did get a partial plate and the insco said they would try to
    track it down.
    Hmm.

    Bugger.
    Ouch, good luck.

Hopefully ours will be rather more straightforward.[/QUOTE]

No, but I am consulting with a Which Doctor later. This bad Ju Ju has
    got to go.

Yeah, she's just annoyed that she'll lose her 9+ years NCB. It's
"protected", but that's not saying much.

Yeah, we're fine. A bit of a nuisance, but it might turn out to be quite
    beneficial.

Buy a Kawasaki (1) as soon as you're ok to ride again, that'll fix it
and it'll focus your mind on sensible things instead of worrying about
what your other half is crashing.

    (1) I think you know which one to get.

B wanted me to sell the DL and buy a Gold Wing. I was really thinking of
a URAL outfit. I haven't told her yet.

Funny noise from engine, smoke behind, followed by smoke from bonnet and
through windscreen vents, at which point we bailed out.

<g> Any idea what caused it? I assume it wasn't actually a blown
head-gasket. Too much wellie from Clare?
