I am taking delivery of my Sprint ST tomorrow and my new
free Fireblade the following wednesday, so as my insurance
expires on the 27th of this month I started to get quotes, or
at least I tried, Bennetts could not get there head around
two bikes on 08 reg which technically I dont own right now
and said the value eas to high for them to insure.

MCD came back with a crazy price, but good old Aunty
Carole was I think reasonable, £373 for both bikes, comprehensive,
protected, breakdown and European cover, I was pleasantly
surprised, would those who know have an recomendations for
    other companies to try?

I think I am going to sell the blade in a couple of months, I dont
need it so what would it be worth with say less than 1000 miles
on the clock? new I think there £9299.

Anybody here looking to buy one?

    Thanks
    Alan

  2. Ebike weren't bad for me, but you do pay extra for European cover (£50 pa
last year) and there's no cover for riding other bikes:

As you appear to have internet access, have you tried one of the (many)
comparison sites? IIRC Money Supermarket worked for me.

  5. I think most of the comparison sites have a hard time dealing with the
idea that someone would have more than one bike...

Really? worked fine for me, wish I could remember which one! I Think it
    was Money Supermarket.

Anyway, for me, living in the Channel Islands (not many firms offer
cover here) the comparison site came up with Motorcycle Direct which is
underwritten by Equity Red Star and covers both my bikes.
