AOL. Car and bike are insured with NUD, who are excellent, provided you
never need to contact them [1]

Their claims service on my recent car related incident has, so far, been
very impressive (no Indian's as yet)

  10. In Oldbloke triped:
Logging the claim was brilliant - a call centre who were most helpful and
"filled in" the claim form there and then over the phone. My problems
started once it had been passed to claim management with my claim details
not being passed through successfully to the management department and then
poor quality information being passed to the NUD Engineers department. The
upshot was the the engineers tried to assess the damage (and Pidcock's
estimate) the day after the work was completed - NU then delayed paying my
dealer for the best part of three months depite both myself and Pidcocks
keeping them fully informed at every stage. I'm not saying its the
call-centre people that are at fault, its just the geographical diversity of
the various parts of NU's operation that's my gripe, i.e. initial contact is
a UK 3rd party under contract to NUD, the claim management is sited in India
and the engineers are based in, I think, Sheffield.

    Cheers
