Does anyone have a recommendation for an insurance company/agent
who will insure a bike with a salvage title? My bike was stolen
and recovered, the only thing wrong with it is scratched plastic.
My insurance company totalled it anyway since it is a bit older and
    low valued (1995).

My current insurance company won't even insure me for liability on it.
State Farm said they would do liability but no comprehensive or
collision. Does anyone know of a company that will offer comp/coll
    after a visual inspection?

BTW, State Farm quoted about $81 for liability for 6 months. Anyone
cheaper? With UIM the 6 month charge is $130.

    Thanks!

If the bike is low valued, why would you want collision and or
comprehensive? The point of insurance is to protect you against an
unlikely event that would be catastrophic to you if it happened. The
point in owning a low-valued bike is that the loss in financial (as
opposed to emotional) terms would not create a major hardship.

If you thought that the actuaries got it severely wrong and that the
odds of your bike being damaged or destroyed were greater than the
ratio of the premium to the cash value, it might make sense to buy
coverage. But this is gambling, not insurance.
State Farm charges by engine displacement. Other carriers go more by
body type. Depending on your particular model and your driving
record, there could be a large difference between one carrier and
    another.
