I was 41 when I last insured my Thunderace and my Honda. I have 3 points
for being a bad lad and passed my test nearly 26 years ago. I have full
    NCD.

    Thunderace - 162ukp.
    CB250RS - 68ukp.

When I insured the ZX-9R it was 168ukp and the renewal for the Honda
    arrived today, 55ukp.

    I too have three points - for me it's UKP340 Comprehensive [1]

[1] Domenec - means I'm covered for everything, as is any pillion -
but I have to pay the first UKP500 of any claim.

Aha, that's called a "seguro a todo riesgo con franquicia". Franquicia is
the first part of the claim one has to pay. Only for cars in Spain :-(

    You're welcome.

Do you work in Barcelona? We're spending a week in late August on the
borders and plan to visit Barcelona for the day. We could stand you a
    cerveza.

  13. I'm paying 680 euros for obligatory insurance on the Blackbird. I
struggled to get any insurance at all in Spain. "Todos riesgos" no
existe. Direct Line (Línea Directa) are advertising bike insurance, but
when asked, they say one has to have had a car insured with them for 13
months before they will give cover.

In the UK, I think I was paying something like 300 pounds for 2 bikes.
Bike insurance in Spain is very expensive because all riders/drivers
    here are totally insane.
Yes, I was told that. Don't understand it.
