After an expensive slow speed get off (50kph) and 5 grands damage later I
claimed on my bike insurance for the first time. I have the Triumph Sprint
RS insured through NRMA Classic Motorcycle Insurance.
Bike was fixed with no complaints,,,left hand side was a bit second hand
looking before repair and is now good as new.All bits were replaced with new
ones, although the tank was resprayed and I even managed to get the "damaged"
bits back.Mirror, pillion peg hanger, indicator, side stand and top fairing.
These bits after a clean up can easily be put back on without adversely
affecting the look of the bike. The top fairing has a scratch the size of a
match stick and was replace with a brand newy.I'll touch it up and put it
    away for future use.

Glad to hear they did the right thing for you. My experiences with NRMA
have been less than satisfactory....so I took all my insurance elsewhere :)
    Don't you just love choice?

I might be getting my stories all arse about but was this the off that
happened on McQuarrie Pass recently...or was that someone else??

times (live 30kays from Robertson Pie Shop) but this was my first real bad
    fall.
