    1) Make sure that the bike is actually worth some money. i.e. not a 19
year old CBR 1000 and a 20 year old GSX 750.

    2) Try and find a CBR which doesn't have a buggered battery.

    3) Learn how to hotwire the bloody thing before you start hacking
around with a hammer and chisel

    4) Make sure the GSX actually has 2 wheels attatched to the bike
before you try taking it off the centre stand. An axel stand holding
the bike up and the wheel leaning against the wall is not good enough.

5 ) Leave the country, as hell hath no fury like a woman who's
motorcycle has just been smashed over the garage floor by some fucking
idiot who cannot count to 2.

    6) and finally it would be common courtesy to drop a letter through
the door at least 1 week in advance to remind the owner that her
    insurance may well have lapsed.

if the bikes weren't worth any money you'd be a fool to claim on the
    insurance anyway.

not that this probably helps any.
