Instant MPG improvement!

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Wicked Uncle Nigel, Oct 31, 2007.

  1. I found a way to instantly improve my MPG in the GTR by 20% this
    morning.

    I finally got round to setting the clock, and found that the MPG was set
    for US gallons. So now I'm doing 42 MPG on average.

    <thinks>

    Shit. I really *do* ride like a poof.

    In
    I was surprised that at 90 on the motorway the GT's computer is showing
    55mpg !
    So do I recently ... although "extended" running in period is my excuse to
    myself.

    I improved my mpg 30% by jetting my carb properly. :)
