I was rewarded for a good deed today! :)
Whilst driving home from work at about 5pm tonight i noticed this
junkie looking character walking suspiciously along the road
approaching a woman with shopping bags. I decided to do a birly and go
back to investigate further,(i am not a polis) anyway! the lady with
the bags was continuing along her road but the suspicious character had
disapeared down some stairs towards a block of flats. As my nose was
bothering me now i decided to do another birly to check this dude out,
    so i did.
I found him at the bottom of the stairs on his hands and knees with his
    head on the pavement.
I rolled down the window and asked him if he was ok, he did look like a
junkie and did look like he needed help but he said he was ok!!
He could hardly walk, he was crying, he looked as if he had taken a
severe beating, which it turned out he had.
I asked him if he needed an ambulance he said no, so i then thought i
would give him a tenner and tell him to get a taxi to where he was now
crawling to. He took the tenner, who would'nt? I then asked him where
he was going and if he wanted a lift, turned out he did'nt have far to
    go
so he painfully got into the car i drove a hundred yards and dropped
him off and did'nt ask for the tenner back!

    THE KARMA BIT
Later on in the evening i went to the local shop for some beers( i got
8 tonight) The young lady who served me should have charged me £6.78
but only charged me £5, when i tried to point this out to her she
shrugged her shoulders and gave me a wink ; -)
    Looking good for tomorrow.

Amstel, one of my favourites, although living with the Krauts I wouldn't
like that publicised to much. 5 groats a crate, that is bloody cheap.

Heh. This Kronenbourg I'm drinking is certainly cheaper than many
bottled waters, at around 70c per 75cl bottle.

It's branded "Kronenbourg Alsace" so probably not exported. 'Only'
5.3% abv, and sold in returnable bottles (and crates) at all
supermarkets for round about that price. TBH it could be a bit moer
than that, or a bit less; I never actually look.
Not as such. I traced it via the police to a garage in France and
informed the Insco of its whereabouts about two weeks ago. Haven't
heard back from them yet, but I'm in no hurry.

So your beers cost £15 instead of £6.78.

    Can't see how that's a reward.

  14. Indeed. So would you have been buying beer in the first place?
