Down to £200 on the drifter based on me being 31, 5 yrs no claims, 7 rs held
full entitlement, and no claims in last 3 years. Based on 3000 miles SDP
commute(might quote again and bump it slightly, usually hardly affects the
    figure much).
Seems about as low as I would expect it to go.

Not sure if changing job title from IT consultant to software analyst might
have made any difference (unlikely, but neither is correct - round block
    into square hole).
More likely definitely the garage statement. I doubt even security makes any
    odds.

All I have to do is make sure I can rent a garage in my exact postcode near
my flat, and Im away. Heh piece of cake </Charm on/>
Ok maybe not so easy </Error=Charm Not Present>

I did find one local elderly resident who had just leased hers for £25 pmth
and knew quite a few others without cars in their garages, promised to pass
on deatils which I printed so fingers crossed. Left her a page of details to
rip off and and explanation that I am a very, very nice person, guv.
So I have 2 weeks to source a garage if I can so hoping I get a call.

Mind you seeing as the council garage is about £16, thats a fair wack
difference if any of her neighbours are looking for around the same
    compensation.
Having said that the feeling of extra security, and being able to secure a
ground anchor is worth the extra £50 - and given the current garage is a
waste of time storing anything vastly valuable compared to the location of
these garages - only makes sense.
Least none of these garages should have had spates of burglaries/arsons/what
have you reflecting the dickheads that live around there (its a
mini-manchester that end of town, mind you has improved a bit last few
    months around the garages).

Even though CN is quite modest price at £280-300 odd with it sat on my drive
which isnt that bad, I could go for the old insurer CIA £200 as above
hopefully and do my breakdown seperate (maybe even as an add-on to my AA
cover) and affectively upgrade my garage rental and make it closer.
    Sorted.

  2. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "Antoine"
Really, by this stage your audience has died of boredom.

Just get on the fucking thing and ride it.

Are you saying no claims in 3 years because that's what the form said, or
have you got 5 years no claims, yet made a claim?

    <confused>

    Protected no claims bonus?

Nice little earner for the ins. co. that. You still have to declare any
claims so they will load your premium anyway.

AOL. Insure yourself against the cost of claiming on your insurance.

Offset a bit by the discount for the NCB though surely?
