Curse those bastards at Channel 10! Why the ^**&^$% did they have to
schedule the race for 3am??? Don't they realise Japan is pretty much in
    the same damn timezone?

And then I get told that it was also screened in the afternoon anyway,
despite there being no mention of it in any tv guide I saw.

And of course I bloody well forgot to tape it in the end anyway!!! grrrrr

Even if I have to sell a testicle to pay for it, I'm getting Austar next
    year!

Over the past 20 years the Japanese round of MotoGP has often been shown
live on Sunday afternoon by the various networks who have covered the
bike racing in Australia if there is no other live sport which clashes
with their scheduling. It shouldn't be a big surprise.

Yep, Zebee sent it on about Wednesday of last week, with a fairly
eye-catching subject line about the GP telecast time.

We might be 2 hours behind the East Coast, but we're still 13 hours ahead of
    the earliest Yanks.

And if I recall, a couple of days ago was the first time in a month or
two that I've even been on here, by which time messages that old had
already expired on my news server. :)
