Insanity that would impress even Bonwick Major.

    Yes, thats why I wrote the above.
    Naturally one of the usual suspects will assume that I am wrong.
    I count that as a gotcha.

    OTOH, the magnetos were a cause of so much trouble that many have been
    replaced with an alternator. Some of these "upgrades" are well done
    and reliable, others are more dubious.

    Yeah, not sure how many he's got now. He sold that one to a yank who
    later got done for drug dealing, so the bike was confiscated. He's
    currently got this one on the road:

    I don't suppose he's interested in taking it on a trial run early next
    year?

    I've also noticed that since we (the anti-clique) started discussing
    shorter crossings to Europe and thereby removed your principle
    objection to coming on our next great adventure you've been very
    quiet. Any particular reason?

    I seriously doubt it'll be ready by then. He's only just started
    looking for a donor Tiger.
    It hadn't escaped my notice, but I'm totally in the hands of a client's
    procrastination at the moment.
