    Hi,

Looking for an accurate yet inexpensive maintenance tachometer for my bike. Can someone
    recommend one?

    Thanks in advance,

    Steve

You don't need one. I would be surpised if you told me that you've owned
the bike for any length of time because many if most cruiser-style bike lack
tachometers and most cruiser riders don't really miss them. The bikes run
at low rpms compared to sport-bikes or standards and the sound and feel
typically work well enough. If you're gonna be a pain and insist that you
need a tach, go to: http://forums.delphiforums.com/hondashadow/start and ask
someone there. It's a great resource for all things Shadow
