To be fair, at least he said you'd need to register. So I'll vote for a
    half-spack.

The machine in question does appear to be an inventively modified one but
    does it stir any emotions..???

Oh well, that being said,I found the machine to be of interest...

BMW R ?? with leading link front forks.
R45 engine with Guzzi 750 Pistons in shortened sleeved barrels...22Ltr fuel
tank and a decidedly snake like `zaust.

    All for £1200..... :)

Come to think of it Error 403 could well have been what Adam saw just before
    he bit the Apple ??

R45...Amazing just how popular these machines are back in the Rhineland....I
know they had some form of Taxation band which led to a certain
popularity, but a quich trawl through ebay.de shows skip fulls of them
    awaiting new owners.... :)

    A group purchase perhaps ..???

You wouldn't be spamming would you? Only the first link appeared to be
a forum post, which you've now apparently managed to stick on the
homepage (even though you didn't manage it, iyswim). That would tend to
indicate you have some control over the site.

    This seems to work:

    http://www.bmbikes.org.uk/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=7933

If it doesn't, go to http://www.bmbikes.co.uk/index.htm

Enter, click on "The Forum", Enter Forum at the bottom of the page, scroll
down to General Motorcycle Chat, then topic "What do you think of this?",
about 4 or 5 from the top.

I should warn you, it's fucking hideous.

Thank you Platypus for your assistance and opinion.....
It sure does look an odd machine and I wonder what its engine
    characteristics are....revvy or,like myself,just plain lazy ?

Still,it must have been a labour of love for somebody... :)

Considering the bottom end only, the R45/R65 unit was a shorter stroke than
other airheads, with relatively long conrods, both of which would promote
revviness. Obviously, that's not the whole story - if it has R45 heads,
carbs, cam etc, and a homebrewed exhaust, it's probably a revvy, asthmatic
slug, especially with an overgeared final drive. The leading link front end
is an amusing contrast to the old twin-shock rear end.

Seriously, it's like a cry for help. Why go to the bother of putting
shortened Guzzi pistons in bored-out R45 barrels when you can simply go out
and buy an R65? Why bother putting a tall rear end on? To save fuel?
Surely a Nissan Micra would be a better solution? Why the enormously ugly
tank, when the relatively elegant standard tank holds 22 litres? And that
    seat unit thing: OMFG.

I honestly can't see the point. A stock R65 will do everything that thing
will do, at a fraction of the cost and effort, and you'll be able to mount
panniers on it. The Volapuke Express there may do 300 miles at a sitting,
but even 300 miles away, children will still throw stones, and dogs will
    still bark at its shadow.
It's a particularly fine example of the taste for which there is no
    accounting.
