In two minds

BMW are fucking clueless & I mean clueless. I sent the dealer a letter
stating the usual rejection reasons & today i got a reply telling me
that fucked up finance is not a reason for rejection. So I got my
solicitor to send an official rejection letter on all the various
grounds. He reckons once it's put legally, it will go away as she
didn't even read the letter properly.

Anyway, I'm in two minds. Do i plow a load of money into a KTM
adventure or something like it, or do I buy a nice old Africa Twin or
Transalp? Both the Hondas seem to be unburstable from many accounts.

The KTM is reasonably modern, will have a warranty, but will cost more
to insure & they get nicked for fun.

The Transalp is a bit low in the seat & the KTM 990 Adventure S is
unfuckingbelievably huge. I mean huge too. The 640 looks shite, but the
690 engine is getting fit soon.

The new route costs more money too, I'm great bike mech, but the
Fireblade is just such a great buy for a couple of grand.

    Decisions decisions....

I heard that if you shorten the wheelbase you can get a dramatic
    improvement in the handling.

I enjoyed that bit of "off-road", just the thing for a Tiger. Probably
not what you wanted as just 5 mins earlier you said something about it
being ok as long as you stay on good tarmac.

It was all jolly good fun. There was nothing wrong with the tarmac, as
such, more the way it was piled up in to random heaps, among the
    gravel and the potholes.
