Depends how long I take to get it tooled. You might have to put up with the
high altitude reconnaissance version if the tuits don't get their arse in
    gear.

Grimly Curmudgeon was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:
It does look like the original (or an original-style) German Wehrmacht
    numberplate.

Ooo! the memories. I presume it has reverse and a handbrake.

The only problem I had with mine was the battery strap vibrating
    thro' some wires.

And I believe I have some spare cables for that beast .

No handbrake - I'll have to molish some chocks.
Kewl. You're Bristol-based, aren't you? We'll have to do ale.

  8. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember Timo Geusch
I suppose some Henri came across it abandoned somewhere and stashed it
in a barn for 50-odd years. I'm fascinated by the history of some of
these old things; but I suppose we'll never know the story of that one.

  9. Actually, it was a German SS officer who (when he saw which way the
wind was blowing) hid it under the Eifel tower, disguised as le flamme
eternal - it was spotted by Le Tog Francais and that's how it's still
    being ridden around.

I was more disturbed by the idea of SS re-enactment, and the sort of
people who might be involved in it.

What's wrong with USSR markings? They were the good guys, too.
