  1. I stopped drinking early afternoon yesterday after just over a week of
near constant drinking. After a little kipette I had the mother of all
hangovers and I'm only just now starting to feel better.

I'm bloody glad Christmas is over, really.

Possibly. Might get a trailer-tent as well - you noticed the tow-bar, of
    course?

You look like someone who can't get his bike to do more than 70 miles to a
    tankful.

  9. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "platypus"
Bloody 'ell, looks like a beast. You might want to check that front
tube, looks like the valve is at an angle.
That front tyre looks just like the one I have.

It is. One of the little things I need to attend to. I checked the tyre
pressures this afternoon - front and chair were both around 10psi low, rear
    was 20psi high.
3.75x19 with /no/ maker's name or anything, just the size and some tiny
Russian lettering. Bike's done to many miles for it to be original, but...

Why did you sell it? Looking at your collection of vehicles, it's not

    2 reasons really -

    1. as it had to sit at the front of the garage and I had to shift it
before I could get to the real bikes [1], I didn't end up using the real
    bikes [1].

    2. it terrified me.
