    physics exist without any maths with which ti describe it?

    Or .. mathematicians can exist without physics but can physicists
    exist without maths?

    That's pretty much how I see it. Luckily I don't have to do much
    maths in my physics -- or others do it for me!
    Wouldn't fly without number theory, set theory, etc. If they
    didn't exist, alternatives would have to be invented -- which may have led
    to quite different theories: epicycles[1], anyone?
