P plate Bandit 1200, in the only true colour.

Apparently it will have a years MOT, and a new set of tyres as part of the
    sale.

It's been modded in as much as it's got the obligatory Renthals, twin
headlights, a Scorpion pipe, and not that long ago apparently had a *lot* of
money spent on it at a local tuners, but no dyno sheet apparent... having
said that, the seller is someone I know to be pretty trustworthy, so no need
    to doubt his word.

Anyway... he's told me I can have it for £2k.

Any good, considering the time of year?

Probably nearer £1750 depending upon mileage.

I'm having a proper look on Saturday, when it will have had the MOT and
    tyres all sorted.
    LOL, it's *black*. :-D

Not to bad so long as there are no rattles.
Does it have the nasty little mini twins?
Steering Damper?? The engine bars are extra.
You'll have great fun on it. I love them but they are a bit too big
    for me.
I cannot touch the floor on a Bandit, there again, I can't on most
    bikes.

    CIHAGM?

Hmm... not micro elliptical jobs, but not speed triple stylee ones either -
and the latter would have been ok, IMHO, if they were in place.

I suppose they're about 3.5 to 4" across lens, housed in a quite deep twin
    cylindrical housing.

Spoil the look of it, at least for me.
    Yeah, steering damper!
I rode one ages ago... which it turned out still had the restriction wire
    intact.

    Was comfy enough, anyway.
If I end up getting it, yeah sure... just don't let that infidel Blaney on
    it... ;-)

I really do like the big 7" headlamp. It sort of sums up the Bandit's
    character.

His old Bandit was one of the most entertaining [1] bikes I've ever
    ridden.

    [1] For anyone watching me.

Makes it look like a 'proper bike', so to speak... hence why the faired
version is less, IME, sought after.
