well, i finally decided on a set of pipes for the thruxton from this mob in
    kiwi land

    http://www.thunderbike.co.nz/sales/Thruxton/thruxtonmufflers.htm

at $828 they were reasonable price - cool

alas when i went to pick them up from oz post , i had to cough up another
$82.80 gst , before they would release them.

    bugger n poop , bloody customs :)

but they sound n look ever so nice, no more air compressor :)

oh and thanks to el davo and helping me fit them*

*actually he did most of the work , i just supervised :)

  2. I take it you made sure the Kiwis deducted their version of the GST
    (VAT) before charging/shipping?

Otherwise you were whacked twice by the "men in black" :-/

    - Bob.

(Seriously contemplating taking to the factory exhausts with a chunky drill
    bit)

    Don't do it

Up the Old Road the other week and we heard a cruiser that someone must have
done that to. It sounded disgusting.

Sorry I thought you said that you picked them up from Australia Post and
