  2. Hi all,
Remember to get it converted to right-hand drive for Australian

And you have to get the fuel tanks, fuel lines and carbies/injection converted .
They run gas over there, not petrol.

Also the electrical system runs imperial volts so need to get that converted for metric.

    Glad to be of help!

Why don't you just ride it back to Australia? ;-)

    Contact Dave Milligan at http://www.getrouted.com.au/

He does regular shipoments to/from NZ and the UK, and irregular ones
    to/from US

He's a regular here. If he can't do the job, he can point you in the
    right direction.

Check out the price of equivalent bikes here in OZ. If you are a Yank
immigrant wanting to bring your bike with you, it might be better and
cheaper to sell it and buy another here. We get more than 15 different
    models!

(oh, and our gallons are bigger than yours, so you'll need a new fuel
    tank.)

I'm afraid I'll have to correct you there young man, it'll be either
SAE volts or US volts - the Yanks have a bit of an issue with
"Imperial" measurement units. (Don't mention the war![1])

Last time I was over there it worked out to be a very small saving of about
$1000 on a US$10,000 bike. I ended up realizing it wasn't worth the loads
    of paperwork, hassle and worry.
