It's a fucking scooter so the best place for it is the bin.

I know someone who got one, it was fucking incredible, utterly mint. That
was 5 years ago, sure the cunts have got in on the act, he paid about £2.5k,
but it was the best i have ever seen.

Thanks. It would be bloody hard even for those ingenious fuckers to copy
a complete 1960s sooter. I've just asked if the numbers match
and am told yes so I might just be tempted to pop over and have a look
    at his setup.

There's always 'if it sounds too good' bit ringing in my head.

It wasn't that long ago that you had a huge grin on your face after trying to
loft the front on a SO scooter.

    :)

Seems rather strange that he Has "Due to popular demand, I have some more
Vespas for sale" when his feedback as a seller doesn't show any previous
sales, in fact AFAICT no sales at all.
It doesn't mean he hasn't sold them elsewhere but the impression he gives by
the above statement one would think he's sold a few through ebore?
I think a proper viewing and check with classic owners of the numbers might
be worthwhile if you _really are_ after a genuine classic.

Have you forgotten that as soon as I got off it I said it should be
    thrown in a bin?

  10. Given that Vespas and Lammies were big sellers in SE Asia during the 50s
and 60s it is possible someone has access to a store of genuine spares.
