A few glasses of the muscle relaxant never did anyone any harm. ;-)

Are you making a habit of this, or is it my imagination?

Last time (it _was_ the last one?) it was a wheelchair, but, before
that, was it a similar event?

Anyway, hope you are feeling better soon.

    regards,

    Hiya CC, where've you been?

Yes, it's your imagination.... really it is.... I make far more of a habit
of staying on than falling off <cue the joke with the punchline "But you
    **** ONE goat...">
<blush> similar yet different. The last one was in the dark in my own
driveway on the way TO work....um.... and my toe didn't hurt a bit
Ta - feeling much better already - and the bike is ready for collection
tomorrow morning (and I am pretty sure the toe is ready to change gears...
it's a lot less swollen already, and I'm revising my earlier diagnosis of
"possibly broken" to "badly bruised and fairly colourful".) YAY!

LOL - I was talking to my big boss yesterday. He was just shaking his head.
"Again, betty, again?" Then he told me this story about his son binning his
bike out on the Cotter Road at 80kmh.

"But he was sensible," he said. "After that he gave up on bikes".

    I couldn't help myself.

"Chickenshit!" slipped out before I remembered who I was talking to (and I
    wonder why I'm never promoted...)

    He laughed his head off.
ha ha ha, you're on! (PS There's a BMW that parks next to my bike nearly
every day, and has survived so far!)

Seven weeks in Greece with Angie.

    It was good. :)
Err, yup...and, as for blowing seals,.....let's leave well alone.
Well, there you go... see how effective a few glasses of the medication
    can be? :)

Charmayne was definitely not real but a rather clever concoction
Her photoshopped pink bike was a real treat. considering the wheels were
some pink some chrome as were some grassy bits and part of another bike
    behind "hers"
    eh Hammo?

    Not for one second ;-)

I'm taking heart from "crash bandicoot" Zebee's words - 3-4 crashes a year
back in the early days, and nobody would ever suggest that bikes may not be
    her thing!

A bloke in a wheelchair came up to me as I was getting ready to leave a
shopping centre on the DR and said "Dangerous things those motorbikes. I
broke my back on one." I replied "I guess motorcycles just aren't your
    thing then, eh...?"

Now we've got a bike copper in the local rag telling everyone what
    dangerous things motorcycles are.

Christ, cars are dangerous too. They can kill you in horrifying ways and
they take a lot innocent people with them.

Why is it the Government wants to stop me riding motorcycles because
it's dangerous but they have no problem paying me to fight fires, clean
    up chemical spills, etc...?

and they're more than happy to pay to send able-bodied youngsters to war
zones... I just don't get it...

It's about money. It's ALWAYS about money... and then there's the
propaganda... As a creative writer, you'd understand propaganda....

And just so's you don't think this JINX stuff's all about riding - my
f*cking vacuum cleaner went up in smoke this morning. It's less than a
year old, ffs... My life is beginning to assume all the hallmarks of
high farce... next, I expect my house will fall down and my knicker
elastic will fail at the worst possible moment... sheesh!

OTOH, I got the bike back this morning - pretty much good as new - and
    had a lovely ride home!

Don't look now Betty, but I think your keyboard is fucked too! It
keeps replacing vowels with asterisks (but only in four-letter
    words for some reason!).

GB, at least keyboards are cheaper than throttle cables!
