Twice on an MX track in one year! Much less crowded today, so a lot more fun, until the snow started falling in earnest, at which point the track turned squelchy and the ruts appeared. That was no problem though, becuase with fine droplets of molten snowflake on my goggles, I couldn't see enough to alarm me anyway. One minor embarrassment was when, having reeled in another rider over the course of one lap, then tried to get past unsuccessfully over the course of another lap, I figured I could outbrake him into the hairpin from the finish straight onto the start straight. I slipped down the inside line, he took a wider line and, as I expected, shut off and braked early. I *just* got in front, then bloody stalled the bike on the inside line of the hairpin, causing him to stop and stall alongside me. D'oh! In the race to get our engines restarted, I won and completed the overtake. Then stalled again a few corners later.
