I'm back home now...

After almost a full week in the hospital, I'm back home where I
belong. After a full day/nite at home, I'm READY to get back to the
hospital. Shit! I thought I was doing good being up and about and
working out the leg. I get home and this thing won't let me get up on
it now. My entire leg looks like a tree trunk (dark wood and all) and
doesn't move well. I'm okay as long as I don't make any sudden moves,
but if I have it up and then get ready to answer the door I am in
severe pain for the first few minutes until all the fluids start
flowing again. I figure it *has* to be either Redshad or Louie ringing
my doorbell and then running away before I get there....they're
    notorious for that!

I was hoping to get to do some riding this weekend and be back to the
office this coming week. When I told the docs/RNs these plans in the
hospital, they just laughed. Now I know why. I tried to put on a shoe
yesterday afternoon and the best I could do was a sock...and even that
was too tight. I tried for the shoe, and even pulling all the laces
out I still wasn't able to get past my toes.

Now, everyone who knows me knows I'm too into safety to be riding one
of these bikes without shoes. As much as I scrape the toes off the
shoes/boots while riding, it'd take a few coats of polish off my toes
without the shoes. So, I want everyone to know that it's not because
I'm being a usenet pussy that I'm not out riding and ripping up the
roads. I hope you guys enjoy the shit out of riding...it's a good day
    for it!

WTF? I always miss out on the best riding days!!!!

well, the old saying ''hope you have a speedy recovery''....seems....is
not gonna happen, huh. I'll change it to..''Hope you recover by' July
    4th, or maybe Labor Day!!

I talked to a friend and he said his wife didnt really get to feeling
okay, on her feet, for 2 months, after being bit, on her lower leg''. I
    forgot what bit 'er. <?>

Talking about riding. Me and Honey rode to ‘‘where do you
    think’’???????

Well Brian so glad the ordeal is winding down. What a brave fellow you
    are(got something in my eye).
Seems kinda unreal that you just got bit by a snake. I have some experience
with it in my job and I
am not taking it litely. The doorbell on the other hand could just be the
    last vestiges of narcotic abuse.
Or maybe your wife. Probably as you say just a couple of scamps trying to
irritate the .... out of you during
your blue period. As for that, don't under any circumstances stomp out the
burning bag on the front porch,
especially with your bit foot. Ring and run buddies might resort to
anything just to add to their already
substantial legends in this sissy newsgroup.

If I ride on Tuesday, I swear I will not have fun, in your honour. I was
    thinking about another try on
Bowie County or maybe slip up to Oklahoma to buy some of that cheapshit
    Indian gas and poke
fun at the poor white people through the fence. Heard they had chips under
    their armpits to keep um
    from buying Harley Davidsons.

Anyway, your whole story has caused me to keep to the sidewalks and
    blacktop. Seven harmless
hognose and two skinny garters have tasted lead from my backup piece just
    cause I'm so jumpy
and fearful of snakes. I'm so afraid, I been avoiding urinating just cause
I'm fearful of shooting my own
penis in a moment of mistaken identity. It has been a lifelong problem, so
    to speak.

Get well soon Mr Walker. "The highway is alive tonight..."

pender, mysteriously drawn to whatever you men call this thing of yours.

might be careful about admitting that. some of them hognose snakes is
protected by the gubment. they wanna make sure there's plenty enough of
em about to make ya grease yer drawers from time to time.

side note - i hope ta hell that big ass chicken snake that took up his
own lane in the road the other day doesn't make an appearance next time
i go that way on the bike.

thanks alot for that grim shit BiffB. Now ya got me scared of the government
as well as the snakes. Oh woe is me. What in the hell will I do if the
gestapo comes for me and I have to slip out the back and go where the snakes
    live?

pender, feet don't fails me now...

=======Jerry, this new guy, ''pender'' introduced himself on here last
week. Look up his intro post. He told where he is from, and what he
rides. I can assure you he is a North Texan, not no dern Canadian. I
    gar'un'tee. Trust me.

You dig you a big ass snake and gubment proof shelter. Not that it
matters, the Mayans say the world ends in 2012 anyway. Might better make
    that sumbitch apocolypse proof too.

All three could be right in there own way....Cookies right because
when you first came on the group raising hell, everyone probably
thought that Jerry guy sure is a asshole.....

I have seen the way you have let your hiar grow out and under certain
lighting conditions it kinda looks like a afro so BJ could be right...

I have seen alot of mexicans with cars up on blocks and I have seen
your trike and it resembles a lowrider at this time and I think it was
on blocks so Pender could be right.....

Damn Jerry.....Right there qualifys you for at least 3 guber-ment
    checks...

OK so get off my back. Only one way to tell a Frog or near Frog(Canadian)
from a white man. Underarm hair. My wife shaves her underarms at least
monthly. Is that good enough for you Geraldo?

I'm tellin' ya....nothing but a bunch of illegal aliens! Hell, more
than half of the people up there are on welfare, from "somewhere
else", and have ZERO border security with our country.

Of all the talk of "border security", I don't recall a single time a
terrorist came into this country from Mexico...it's always through
    Canada.

And OMG!!! The people up there analyze and will talk a person to death
over the stupidest shit! You tell them to do a single task, and
they'll have to have meetings about it and analyze why, what will
happen, what can be expected, and the long term effects. All I said
was "plug the computer power cord in and press the power button!". It
takes three days of conference calls just to get that much done!!!!
Asking for a network to be segregated and choked down to 10mb/hdx like
a month of serious calls and every network guru up there trying to
explain to me how their network is wonderful at 1gb and my equipment
should be set fine to that. It's a freaking phone....it doesn't need
to be set higher....but in Canada, we have to have a month's worth of
conference calls just for every little detail.
