"So far Howard's luck has survived a great deal: his move to dismiss
broken election pledges by distinguishing between "core" and "non-core"
promises; his retrospectively time-limited "never ever" pledge on the
goods and services tax; his vagueness about when he committed Australia
to war against Iraq; his shifting standards for ministerial conduct; his
demonising of asylum seekers as child killers; his tendency to blame
"advice" rather than to openly accept responsibility when things go wrong."
Will Howard's luck survive another election ? Do Australians not care
that their PM is a liar ?

  4. I met the director of that a few weeks back - as well as coming across
as a good guy, he seemed inordinately proud of what he'd made.

I'm looking forward to seeing it (I _really_ must hurry up to ensure I
    don't miss it).

  5. Aaawww, I dunno, theres something almost poetic about an Audi zipping
round Balmain with a gunrack and an "I shoot rednecks" bumper sticker...

    Hi James/Centurion,
The "other"James is in Brisbane on business. Pete we don't know.
Clonehead is a cloned alias of your Conehead.
    Andy is me. Right ?
I found out today that we do have a Charmaine on our lan, but
her alias is Clonehead not Charmayne. Sorry my mistake.
I know it's confusing. Some of us here use our real names most
of the time, but three of us use aliases. I hope that explains it
    for you.

The "other" James has taken a new Triumph Rocket III to
Brisbane to sell as he was told they are not available yet in
Australia. I believe he has sold it for AUD$32,000. Does that
    sound too cheap?

My Mandarin isn't upto a serious political discussion.

    Neither is their english.
It is an attractive looking option, but Angie isn't too keen.
