Did the Yateley Heath Enduro today.
Fucking tight wooded sectiond where the trees were closer together than the
    width of my bars!!!
Anyway I found it really hard going. I've been doing a lot of running so my
legs were fine but my arms felt awful.

I binned it 6 times on wet tree roots.
Then when putting the bike on the trailer, my uncle pointed out that I had a
    puncture on the front!!!

That explains why I found it so hard.

Oh well, next one is on the 7th November.

    You all ride safely now.

Aah, wet roots. No perpetual motion machine is complete
without a wet root / motorcycle tyre bearing to eliminate
    all friction.
Autumn is definitely here and I'll refrain from any more tries
at the local enduro track. I'm really crap at it, totally out
of shape as well, and the wet simply makes it too difficult.

I find, it doesn't matter how much exercise you do to prepare, nothing hurts
    like an enduro.

Doing "an enduro" is way beyond my capacity, my goal is to
get the bike and myself back to the starting point reasonably
    intact during training hours.
    It actually hurts a lot less on a TT600 than on a XT600 ;-)

But it's good fun and an ideal way to do something a bit
challenging on a bike if high speed makes you nervous
    (note UKRMSBC# in sig).
