  1. Nice one, mate!
First bit's a no-brainer, good luck on the second. Geography, eh? Best
    get sharpening those colored crayons...

    What are Aquifers?

Aquifers are like small conifers that grow near rivers.

    Explain continental drift.

Continental tyres are not as good as Bridgestones, so in corners it
makes the vehicle more likely to drift...

    What is a taiga?

I would answer this, but a taiga ate my homework..

  3. Err.. Cat Hill is the big hill that goes down into (eventually)
    East Barnet village..
Aye - that sounds like the one. A
good candidate for a cleanup firebombing..

I would imagine they fucked off elsewhere after the shop had subsidised
    their improved education :)

    Geography - BSc Hons

Or, if Northampton offer me a place, a joint BSc in Earth
Sciences/Geography. If Northampton don't have a decent climbing wall
    then I'll be taking Hertford's offer ;)

The plan then is to get a place on a Graduate Teacher Programme, train
in school for a year and then teach geography/science at middle school
    level (1).

Alternatively, I'll buy a tweed jacket with leather patches on the
elbows and go on field trips to weird and wonderful places.

    (1) Having spent my school placement over the past few weeks in an
upper school ... I HATE TEENAGERS!

Not been there yet so can't comment. Have to see what I think after
the open day later this month.
There is that, but as I'll not be living there, I'm not really that
    bothered.

The university itself doesn't look too bad - it's the accomodation
    blocs that look dreadful.
well, that's for the best, really.

BTW, I wasn't trying to slag off your choice of Uni - I was just
pitying you if you had been having to live there!

    Brilliant news! :)

I'm really enjoying the OU course I began studying last year. Mind you,
on top of the day job it can get a bit much.

Like you, my brother was far braver and went back full time to Uni last
year and so far it's been a great success.

Good luck with the access course!
