But you can always bang in a bit of glue or extra screw yourself. Try doing
that with MFI and watch it crumble away.

I *know* [1]. After the first one, I kept it up. This is usenet &
I'm busy doing hard sums ATM, so such things as spelling niceties are
taking something of a back seat.

And curtains that actually fit my tall windows - local curtain place
quoted me 178 quid to make one pair (and I'd have had to have two) to
fit my French-doors-with-glass-above. Checked Ikea on the web, they
had lots of curtains you just hem up yourself at well over the length
I needed, so I popped down to Bristol and got two pairs of curtains
and two pairs of voile panels for about 50 pounds. Unfortunately I
also bought a new coffee table, a new pot plant and a new pot plant
stand, some table mats and a couple of other things - but it still
came to 116 pounds. Even with the fuel I saved £100s.

  10. Jurer's Gap, next to Camber. Lovely and quiet.

Errr, if so, then it's a very recent thing. Habitat is the star in
Terence Conran's empire (Stores group, I think it was called) whereas
Ikea is very much a Swedish affair.

Ikea has nothing to do with Terrence Conran, who owns Habitat.

You may be thinking of Heals?

I haven't explored that end yet. Now we're getting off season, I'll
    have a look.
