The Nottingham one if 15 mins out of my way on the journey home. I went
there yesterday for some pans and stuff and didn't even have to queue at
    the checkout.

Likewise and ditto, including several items that have survived disassembly,
moving to Newcastle and being reassembled - all by me (hmmm, little hammer
or big hammer for this bit?)

The quality and robustness is certainly streets ahead of other flat-pack
    merchants I've used.

I'm going to redo my library with something like http://www.shelvex.com/
I think it will make more efficient use of the space.

Geography is getting the better of you...

Northerners that don't queue are actually called burgulars. Now I'm
from the Midlands, which isn't (quite) the north.

It will fit right to the edges, because it's (as good as) made to
measure. Can get narrow bookcases either side of the window. I can get
the wall with the radiator fitted with shelves.

Net result: can get more books in, more neatly.

    what *is* this "billy" solution?

I've just got a load of those dexion-style metal rails with detachable
brackets and cut-to-size wooden shelving - if I need more space, I
just buy two more brackets and another shelf (cut to size) and move
the others up/down to make room.

    ^^^^ ^^^^

    checksum error.

Then, I don't "do" flatpack, so can't compare it with the others.

I think you're being a little harsh there Mr Porl.

Did they make fun of you when you crashed your bike?......No
Did they laugh at your Jimjams?......No
    Do they call you names?.......No
Do they giggle when they see you?......No
    Do they worship you?.......No
Do you want to increase the size of your penis?........?

The food is not bad and it's cheap.

Camber Sands[1] one way and Winchelsea beech[2] the other.
    Yes please, thirsty, I am.

[1] Sandy and not busy on the wast side full of pikeys to the east. A
50 minute walk from my from door.

[2] A pebble beech almost always empty.
