Basically they were a good idea even if no-one's got any figures to
prove it. If they just stopped you grinding through your skull in a
slide they were worth the money. IIRC.

That with regard to motorcycle helmet, pushbike ones or both? FWIW I
agree although I'm kinda fatalistic about using my pushbike helmet.

Offroad I always wear it as I tend to push myself far enough that
accidents are likely and there's lots of stuff to hit. Like trees.

On the road I wear it 50/50. If it's hot I don't bother, working on
the principle that if I get hit by a car a bit of polystyrene on my
head isn't going to make a lot of difference, and on the road it's
unlikely I'll have an accident that's my fault.

Interesting site, mostly a work in progress though.

On an unrelated subject, sort of, I arrived here:

    http://www.spamlaws.com/eu.shtml

It starts downloading it and Adobe fires up and wants to have a natter,

A: "Look, this update shit, how about we set it up for once a month
regular and you just leave the details to me eh? I can even do it when
you are not here if you like."

Me: "So where do I click?"

    A: "Where it says OK"

    <click>

A: "Cheers, I'll let you know if anything important happens, see ya"

    Ain't technology wonderful sometimes?

    No, I missed that.

I'm surprised. It was fairly well publicised, in outline if not in
    detail.
I don't think traffic offences are included.

Are traffic offences criminal offences as in offences that give you a
criminal record? I didn't think they were but I'm probably a hardened
    crim after all these years.
