Serious? I'll get it running tomorrow and report back.

    Taxed and MOT'd to July.

Spare carbs, engine[1], tank, panels and tail.

Plus other stuff: cables, shoes, pads, etc.

Manuals coming out of my ears; parts book.

[1] Would make a good doorstop.

I'll have to do some serious negotiating as I'm still banned from getting
more bikes and cash is tight. I could always sell some and I've gone off
    outfits.

I've got a copy of a roadtest on one, if you're keen.

Owner did 50,000 miles on it, too.

Painful *and* expensive would be my guess. At least with a Dnepr it's
    just painful.

It must have been ridden by an old lady: the fuel consumption went
    from 48mpg to 32.

Quite how he ever got 48mpg out of it I don't know.

So am I. On my "long" run[1], it used a whole tankful before Old Ford
    Tesco.

    3 gallons - 38 miles.

It did have a leaky fuel tap, though. Now replaced with a fully
    reconditioned one.

It also did a head gasket, one centre stand bolt, and an exhaust came
undone. Apart from that, it was fine.

  12. Wow. My old 400 managed 26mpg, two-up. My 500 did 30mpg+.

    18? EIGHTEEN?

That's beyond belief. I mean, that's so fucking daft it boggles the
imagination. Barely enough to get from one filling station to the next.

It seems the 350 was the worst of the lot. Then again, it was the most
    highly tuned.

A 47bhp 350, with no reed valves, YPVS, water cooling, or any of that
nonsense. Just aggressive port timing. Big holes.

My friend Gez has one, and it simply drinks fuel, regardless of how
    it's ridden.

  16. The 350 is amazingly rare. I've only ever seen two or three.
