  1. Why not just measure the room in metric and work it out from there? It's got
    to be easier - although possibly not as entertaining :)

    I cant get into the place to measure up yet, but am buying stuff in, in

  7. That's a fair enough excuse I s'pose. I made it about 4.8 square meters for
    what it's worth. If you buy more than you need from B&Q you can take the
    extra back after I believe.

    Besdies which, what is the _exact_ conversion rate anyway? 2.54
    cm/inch, which gives the 5.33 result, is probably not absolutely
    correct...
