Who is the stalking horse, surely.

I hope that the fucking stupid cunts that belong to the tory party don't
**** it up for the parlimentary party. We need Ken Clarke as leader of
the opposition really; it would be good for British politics.

Bloke in the Independent reckoned the "Dream Ticket" was Howard &
    Letwin.[1]
    Quite.

[1] Sounds like a firm of undertakers, which is rather appropriate.

There's an undertakers in Twickenham called "Wake & Paine", which always
cheers me up a little when I see their sign.

There's an undertakers in Winchester called J.N.O. Steele. About 15
years ago I put a two way radio system into their hurses (For when they
    had "multiple drops").

They had an old boy that lived on the premises above the 'shop'... he
used to get kids ringing the doorbell and when he answered running away
    shouting "see you later undertaker".

If it was down to the fucking blue-rinse brigade tory party members[1]
    it would be Ann-fucking-Widdecombe.

But you may well be right.
Laugh all you want, until there's a credible opposition we'll have crap
Government. Having a pitifully weak opposition is bad for our democracy
and encourages excess, poorly thought legislation and abuse of power by
    the elected Government.

And before anyone chimes up about the SDP, sorry, Liberal Alliance,
sorry... what is their current name... they'll never be the second
    party.

[1] Never belonged to any organisation myself, well apart from the NUS
    and IEE.

She's a right-wing nutter with no real life experience. She became a
fecking catholic because the CoE started admitting women priests.

    Really, her moral code is so out of step with the rest of the country;
well those of us under 75 that it would be a nightmare. She's also mad
    as a box of frogs.

Electing her would please my parents; that says enough for me. They
were also Redwood and Hague fans.

Why? He's the nearest thing to a One Nation Tory the Tories have. He's
also pragmatic, sane, driven and a very capable politician.

To my mind, he's the last thing *I* want to see. Which is probably
    recommendation enough...
