Yes indeed. Haven't worn one more than once a month for some years now.

Years ago went to some waterski park near Buladelah (Bull-ahh-de-laa) with
some mates for a weekend. On the Sat arvo we decided to head to the local
golf course for a bash. One of the guys was refused on account of his not
wearing a belt (this is a very classy facility...). Big Phil (and he was a
giant of a guy) said "no worries" and headed to his car, returning a few
minutes later with a magnificent belt through his worker shorts, made of
fencing wire. A lesser lad would have struggled to wrap this stuff around
himself but the big man even managed to create some sort of tie knot in it!
Fuggin hilarious.

Needless to say it was one of my most memorable sporting events.

Not really relevant, but honestly, what is the relevance of relevance???
